Mike Kestemont will be giving a presentation titled "Computation in style. Linguistic authorship attribution in historic and modern texts" at the WIS (Wetenschappelijk Interdisciplinair Seminarie) on February 20th, 2013.
Tom De Smedt will be defending his PhD dissertation "Modeling Creativity: Case Studies in Python" on February 1st, 2013. Tom's defense will be the culmination of years of research that sparked a wide range of interesting papers and resulted in a suite of useful software tools.
Running from November 19th to November 23rd, the Flemish Science Week is an initiative that encourages teenagers to learn about science and scientific research. On November 20th, CLiPS is organizing an interactive session introducing some of our more interesting research subjects.
